Vancouver Historical Society’s feature film, City Reflections, premiered in May 2008. This film, based on a 1907 trolley car tour of Granville Street and the downtown core, illustrates Vancouver’s changing face over the past 100 years. Canada Line was a key sponsor of the making of this film.

Events
The Vancouver Business Liaison Committee is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Downtown Streetbeats Summer Busker Series. The Streetbeats series will present 84 free shows with more than thirty of Vancouver's finest musicians and dancers from July 2 to August 29, 2008 Mondays through Fridays, with two shows per day at noon and then at 1:00pm. Improving Local Neighbourhoods
As Canada Line construction is completed, we’re finishing our street work: that means paving roads and replacing sidewalks, replanting boulevards and medians, and restoring local and commuter traffic. As well, the Cities are undertaking extensive streetscape improvements: in Vancouver, on Cambie Street – particularly in the heart of Cambie Village – and downtown, on Granville Street.
