Stay safe. Never enter a construction site unless a Canada Line worker is with you.

Stop, look left-right-left, and listen. Make sure you look left-right-left, and listen before you cross the street to ensure that it is safe to cross. Only cross the street at designated crosswalks.

Be seen. Make eye contact with crews operating equipment, or by crossing guards so that they know you are there.

Stay clear of the construction zone. Don't lean, stand or climb on construction equipment, fencing or material.

Walk, don't run. Uneven pavement around the construction zone can make it easier to trip or fall. Don't run or play in or around the construction area.

Don't touch. Don't touch or climb on construction materials or equipment around the construction sites.

Stay focused. When walking around or near a construction site watch where you are walking. If you want to watch construction, stop in a safe area.

Keep us informed. Report anything that looks dangerous to the Canada Line site staff and/or call our office at 608.0200.
