Hours of Construction Work

Construction Hours for the City of Vancouver

Construction hours of work are generally between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some limited weekend and evening activity. All work will be conducted in accordance with the City of Vancouver's Noise Control bylaw, which permits on-street construction between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays. InTransitBC may apply for bylaw exemptions to allow for nighttime work if this can further minimize inconvenience to the public.  To view bylaw exemptions please visit our Permits page.

Construction Hours for the City of Richmond

Construction hours of work are generally between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some limited weekend and evening activity. All work will be conducted in accordance with the City of Richmond's Public Health Protection bylaw, which permits on-street construction between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays. InTransitBC may apply for bylaw exemptions to allow for nighttime work if this can further minimize inconvenience to the public. Construction Hours for YVR

Construction hours of work are generally between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some weekend and evening activity. InTransitBC may conduct nighttime work if this can further minimize inconvenience to the public.
